Extend the lifespan and reliability of your high-voltage cabinets and transformers by cleaning them periodically.
CABINET CONTAMINATED WITH DUST
We can carry out cleaning under power and without power for light contamination.
Under voltage (up to 15,000 V), insulated vacuum cleaners remove dust from the cells, on transformers and on the floor.
CABINET CONTAMINATED WITH MORE THAN DUST
In case of contamination with more than just dust, cleaning can only be carried out without the power supply.
There are various techniques for cleaning a high-voltage installation.
Dry ice blasting has many advantages that other techniques do not have:
– Dry ice blasting is a dry method of cleaning. So no moisture gets into your electrical installations.
– Because moisture does not enter your electrical installations, cleaning under (low) voltage is an option.
– Dry ice blasting can remove many types of solid and liquid contamination (dust, glue, mold, oil, welding scratches, etc.)
– Dry blasting is non-abrasive. So your components are not damaged.
– No parts need to be dismantled in the cabinet, except for any shields.
– No flying or residual abrasive. Since dry ice sublimates carbon dioxide, no blasting agent remains in the installation or the environment.
– After cleaning, the installation can be put back into service immediately.
Changing the filters in the high-voltage cabin is part of good maintenance. We can carry out this filter change during cleaning.
The cleaning usually takes place on the customer’s site. However, it is possible to send us (parts of) high-voltage installations to be cleaned in our laboratories.
Contact us and we will be happy to visit you on site to assess the situation.
